Add umami gourmet goodness to your everyday staples by making your own Truffle avocado mayonnaise. By using TRUvocado, our proprietary truffle avocado oil, your mayo will propel your salads, sandwiches, burgers and more to the next culinary level.
It’s quick and easy but the end result will confirm your status as a culinary master.
2 cups TRUvocado
2 pasture raised eggs (room temperature preferably)
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
½ teaspoon sea salt
In a bowl whisk together all the ingredients EXCEPT the TRUvocado. For the next step you can use either an immersion blender or a food processor to create your egg and oil emulsion better known as mayonnaise.
If using an immersion blender start to drizzle the TRUvocado oil into your bowl with the other ingredients very slowly while running the blender.
If you have chosen the food processor route, pour your whisked ingredient mix into the processor affix the top and fire it up. Now begin to drizzle the TRUvocado into your mix very slowly.
The key to your mayo success is to add the oil VERY SLOWLY!! Continue until all of the oil has been added and your mixture has transformed into Mayonnaise. Taste for salt and adjust if needed. CONGRATULATIONS!
